Diamondback Sorrento Features

You don’t have to think hard to figure out why the bike has sold well; it boasts the following:

  • Tektro alloy linear brakes
  • multiple frame options
  • easy trigger 7-speed shifters
  • Shimano derailleur’s
  • top notch tires.

All of these features were put together to take the Sorrento to new heights. Let’s go through the top features in details of the bike.

Solid Frame Design and Suspension Fork

The aluminum frame of the Diamondback Sorrento has been heat-treated and butted in order to achieve a solid frame that will stand up to different weight capacities without flexing or breaking. This DB 6061-T6 frame has a replaceable hanger, as well as a 60mm travel fork (Trail XC) with an alloy crown.

The suspension fork is smooth and effective, allowing you to breeze over rough trails without fear of bumps, crevices, and rocks. You can, therefore, take this bike for a ride without worrying that you will return with an aching backside.

Frame Size Options

One thing that many people agonize with when buying a bike is whether the frame will fit their height and weight. After all, there is nothing worse than falling in love with a bike and its features a frame that is too small or big for you!

That is why Diamondback had decided to offer multiple frame size options for the Sorrento. People of all sizes can fit comfortably on the bike. These frame sizes include 14-inch, 16-inch, 18-inch, 20-inch, and 22-inch options. The newer models of the Sorrento (also discontinued) were only featured in 16-inch and 18-inch versions. Make sure you look for the size that fits you when browsing for second-hand bikes.
