Axis LT 27.5-Inch Mountain Bike Review
Axis LT 2.5-Inch Bike from Diamondback has features that will make bike riding a joy for all the newbies and pros alike. Let me shed some light on these characteristics and how they will benefit you on this Axis LT 27.5-Inch mountain bike review.
The 6061 A-grade Aluminum solidifies the frame and also makes your bike lighter. The advantage is, you won’t tip over with the weight of your own bike when descending the hills.
The foundation holds together the suspension and the wheels and yet doesn’t slack off thanks to the inner cartridges that pivot and hold it together. Each part is designed to be integrated with other perfectly if you choose to customize.
That way, it will take up less time to do so.
Great Suspension System
The most difficult thing is to balance country bikes with the trail riding ones. Suspensions always pose a problem as the roads and roles of the bikes are different. But not with Axis LT 27.5-Inch Bike from Diamondback, though.
Diamondback put up Suntour XCT suspension fork with 100mm (slightly lesser than the competitors) travel right at the front to even the odds of the roads. And it DOES work!
The bike stayed on course and seldom twitched when I took it on an uphill ride with friends.
Powerful Gear System
Axis doesn’t fall short on speed either. You can shift through gears effortlessly due to the 24-Speed Shimano gear. The front and rear derailleur make shifting gears effortless.
The Wheels are Terrific!
The rims encase spokes to protect any accidents through a double wall on each side. The wheels are noiseless on roads, thanks to the rubber cushioned 650B tires. No matter what the roads, these tires surpass them with efficiency.
Not to mention the Aeries brake system from Tektro does an excellent job of controlling or stopping the bike whenever needed, thanks to the disc brakes.
- Sturdy Construction with 6061 T6 Aluminum to ensure stability
- The suspension works great with XCT 100mm travel shock absorbers and pivoting cartridge in front
- The wheels are a good way of balancing features between 26 and 29er bikes. It is kind of “Fit for All” bike
- The gear system is uncomplicated with speed dependent changing facility
- No notable disadvantages discuss.
Diamondback has struck the perfect chord between a cross country bike and a hardtail.
I have reasons to believe that Axis LT 27.5-Inch bike has the perfect parts engraved to take on some of the hardest roads in the country. Right from the frame, handlebars, suspensions, wheels to the brakes, this bike tied each end correctly.
This is the ideal mid-range bike anyone would be happy to spend their money on.
